The cleanup of HydroTec® is extremely easy as shell fragments, left behind from play, are over time easily broken down by existing soil bacteria without the smell of decaying gelatin. Making your life easier is the fact that HydroTec® fill is actually 98%* water! The fill evaporates away and eliminates the oily or waxy film commonly left behind by gelatin paintballs. For field owners with multi-level structures, steps, or other surfaces the risk of player injury is always a concern with oil fills. Once evaporated, HydroTec® leaves only a thin film behind. This also helps to alleviate the long-standing problem of slippery floors for indoor fields.
The durability of HydroTec® is unmatched going well beyond the capabilities of gelatin paintballs. Its corn based outer shell material is moisture immune. No longer will water and humidity cause the outer shell to swell. The shell is resilient, being able to withstand extreme high and low temperatures. This moisture immunity and temperature resistance alleviates the need to store in a temperature-controlled environment.
The abundance and affordability of gelatin paintballs in the mass retail market has made it more difficult for field owners to justify “field paint only” policies. Advanced customization of HydroTec® Element™ and non-public, exclusive colors help to protect the true gateway to our sport, paintball parks. HydroTec® features two-tone fills to provide a unique mark without using a barrier inside the paintball or ball-in-ball technology. The unique multi-color fill feature is offered only to field owners through the HydroTec® Element™ product.
